2Tombstone-Frizzell, P., Liberty Hill (Taylor) Cemetery, 6 miles NE of Farmerville, Louisiana, Union Parish Rd #6702 (Liberty Hill Road), just off Hwy 33, Section 12, Township 21 1E. "Penelope Frizzell Albritton, January 27, 1772 and 1860; Wife of Enoch Albritton, Mother of Levincy Lee." ... to date there is no proof of where Penelope Frizzle Albritton died and was buried. A new marker was placed for her in that cemetery near the original tombstone of her son George W. Albritton, daughter Lavincy Albritton Lee, and son-in-law Martin B. Lee in 1992 by a group of people who refurbished old and damaged tombstones in the Taylor/Liberty Hill Cemetery. They placed a marker for Penelope next to her son since they knew she was living there in 1850. This group did not realize that Penelope was back in Wilcox County in 1860 living with her granddaughter. Penelope Frizzle Albritton's birthdate comes from the family Bible of her son John Frizzle Albritton.... I will also mention that this same group placed markers for other Albrittons, Elizabeth Fowler Albritton and Sarah Ann Fowler Albritton, and both of them contain errors.... Tim Hudson.
